I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of Schedule 1 to the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act (No. 2) 1991, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 February 1992 as the day on which the amendment to the Local Government Act 1919 set out in that Schedule commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the amendment to the Local Government Act 1919 contained in the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act (No. 2) 1991 relating to penalty notices for parking offences in free parking areas provided by local councils.
