Act 2000 No 53—Proclamation

GORDON SAMUELS, Governor I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) of, and Schedule 1.16 to, the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2000, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 4 August 2000 as the day on which Schedule 1.16 to that Act commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this proclamation is to commence the amendments made to the Meat Industry Act 1978 by the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2000.
