I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A.C., Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of Schedule I to the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1993, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 September 1993 as the day on which the amendment to the Dried Fruits Act 1939 set out in that Schedule commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the amendment to the Dried Fruits Act 1939 contained in the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1993. The amendment enables the application fees for the registration, renewal of registration and transfer of registration of a packing house to be set by regulations under the Dried Fruits Act 1939.
