I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of Schedule 1 to the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1992, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1st October, 1992 as the day on which items (1) and (4) of the amendments to the Environmentally Hazardous Chemicals Act 1985 set out in that Schedule commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence certain provisions relating to the Environmentally Hazardous Chemicals Act 1985 contained in Schedule 1 to the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1992.
The provisions (items (1) and (4)) amend sections 29A and 39 of the Act and
deal with procedures and appeals relating to the transfer of licences under the Act.
