I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of Schedule 1 to the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1992, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 August 1992 as the day on which the amendments to the Education (Ancillary Staff) Act 1987 set out in that Schedule commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the amendments to the

Education (Ancillary Staff) Act 1987 contained in the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1992. The amendments designate the Director-General of School Education as the employer, for industrial purposes, of ancillary staff in the
Department of School Education and give effect to other minor statute law revision.
