I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of Schedule 1 to the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1991, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 26 July 1991 as the day on which the amendment to the Gaming and Betting Act 1912 set out in that Schedule commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the amenment to the Gaming

and Betting Act 1912 contained in Schedule 1 to the Statute Law (Miscellaneous
Provisions) Act 1991 relating to the penalising of betting by minors.
