REGULATIONS UNDER THE CENSUS AND STATISTICS ACT 1905-1930.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Census and Statistics Act 1905-1930.

Amendment of Statistics Regulations. 

Information to be supplied relative to shipping.

1. Regulation 20 is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (1.) the word and figures “Form XLIII” and inserting in their stead the word and figures “Forms XLIII, XLIV and XLV”.

Information to be supplied relative to gold and silver.

2. Regulation 21 is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (1.) the figures “XLIV” and inserting in their stead the figures “XLVI”.

3. After Form XLIIc in the Schedule the following forms are inserted:—

Note.—The information to be given hereon is required under the Authority of the Census and Statistics Act 1905-1930.

Return of Passengers who departed from Darwin (Northern Territory) for places outside Australia on the............day of............19 .

NAMES AND DESCRIPTIONS OF PASSENGERS.

Line No.

Place of Embarkation in Australia.

Port at which Passenger has contracted to land.

Name (Separate line to be used for each passenger).

Sex (M. or F.)

Age last Birthday.

Married or Single.

M = Married.

S = Single.

W= Widowed.

Country of last Permanent Residence.

Nationality

B = British.

A = Alien.

Race (Specifying Country).
