An
Act to amend the States Loan Act 1925–1926.
[Assented to 8th April, 1927.]
BE it enacted by the King’s Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate, and
the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:—
Short title and citation.
1.—(1.) This
Act may be cited as the States Loan Act 1927.
(2.) The States
Loan Act 1925–1926
is in this Act referred to as the principal Act.
(3.) The Principal Act, as amended by this Act, may
be cited as the States Loan Act 1925–1927.
Agreement with States.
2.Section two of the
Principal Act is amended by omitting the words “One thousand nine hundred and
twenty-seven” (wherever occurring) and inserting in their stead the words “One
thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight”.
Conversion of State securities into
Commonwealth securities.
