Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the States Grants (War Service Land Settlement)

Conditions under which moneys appropriated by Parliament are payable
Sub-section (1) amended by No. 68, 1953, s. 5
SECT
2. (1) Moneys appropriated by the Loan (War Service Land Settlement) Act
1951*2* and moneys appropriated by an Act passed after that Act, whether
before or after the commencement of this Act, for the purpose of financial
assistance to a State or States in connexion with war service land settlement,
are payable to the State or States in such amounts, and subject to such
conditions, as the Minister determines.
(2) This section does not apply to moneys paid to a State before the
commencement of this Act.
