States Grants (Schools Assistance) Amendment Act (No. 2) 1988 (Cth)

BE IT ENACTED by the Queen, and the Senate and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:
“(5a) Subject to section 29d, the Minister may authorise the payment to a State under this section, by way of financial assistance to the State in respect of recurrent expenditure of an approved school system in the State in respect of the year 1988, of such amounts as the Minister determines.”.
“(4a) Subject to section 29d, the Minister may authorise the payment to a State under this section, by way of financial assistance to the State in respect of recurrent expenditure of a non-systemic school situated in the State in respect of the year 1988, of such amounts as the Minister determines.”.
“29d. The Minister shall not authorise payments to the States under subsections 28 (5a) and 29 (4a) that exceed, in the aggregate, $5,600,000.”.
