  1. These Regulations may be cited as the States Grants (Primary and
Secondary Education Assistance) Regulations.*1*

Interpretation 


  2. In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears:

  "Act" means the States Grants (Primary and Secondary Education Assistance)
Act 1992.

Cost supplementation - recurrent grants in 1993 program year 


  3. For the purposes of paragraph 106 (1) (b) of the Act, the number 1.036
(determined after considering the changes in the amount known as the Average
Government School Costs published from time to time by the Australian
Education Council) is the number to be used for the variation of amounts of
recurrent grants specified in the Schedules to the Act in relation to the 1993
program year.

  3A. For the purposes of paragraph 106 (1) (b) of the Act, the number 1.051
is the number to be used for the variation of amounts of recurrent grants
specified in the Schedules to the Act in relation to the 1994, 1995 and 1996
program years.

  4. For the purposes of paragraph 106 (1) (a) of the Act, the number 1.013 is
the number to be used for the variation of amounts of capital grants specified
