State Grants (Primary and Secondary Education Assistance) Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the State Grants (Primary and Secondary Education Assistance) Act 1992.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The State Grants (Primary and Secondary Education Assistance) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

[NOTE: These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s. 48.]

2.   Regulation 3 (Cost supplementation—recurrent grants in 1993 program year)

2.1   Omit “program years 1993, 1994, 1995 and 1996.”, substitute “1993 program year.”.

3.   New regulation 3A

3.1   After regulation 3, insert:

Cost supplementation—recurrent grants in 1994, 1995 and 1996 program years

“3A.

For the purposes of paragraph 106 (1) (b) of the Act, the number 1.051 is the number to be used for the variation of amounts of recurrent grants specified in the Schedules to the Act in relation to the 1994, 1995 and 1996 program years.”.
