States Grants (Coal Mining Industry Long Service Leave) Regulations

  

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the States Grants (Coal Mining Industry Long Service Leave) Act 1949.

Citation

 1. These Regulations may be cited as the States Grants (Coal Mining Industry Long Service Leave) Regulations.

  

Interpretation

 2. In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears:

“the Act” means the States Grants (Coal Mining Industry Long Service Leave) Act 1949.

  

Reimbursement of Commonwealth administrative expenses

 3. For the purposes of section 7 of the Act:

  • (a)

    the amount representing the expenses incurred by the Commonwealth in administering the Act during the period starting on 18 December 1990 and ending on 30 June 1991 is $ 36,241; and

  • (b)

    that amount is payable no later than 30 days after the end of that period.
