Amendment Regulations 2000
Made by the Governor in Executive Council.
1. Citation
These regulations may be cited as the State Trading Concerns

2. The regulations amended
The amendments in these regulations are to the State Trading
Concerns (Authorization) Regulations 1998*.

3. Regulation 4 replaced by regulations 4 and 5
Regulation 4 is repealed and the following regulations are inserted instead -
4. Prescribed statutory corporations (section 4B(2))
The statutory corporations set Out in Schedule 2 Part 1 are prescribed statutory corporations for the purposes of section 4B(2) of the Act.
5. Prescribed activities by statutory corporations (section 4B(2))
The activities set out in Schedule 2 Part 2 are prescribed activities for the prescribed statutory corporations to which they relate, for the purposes of section 4B(2) of the Act.
4. Schedule 1 amended
(1) Part ito Schedule 1 is amended by inserting after State
Revenue Department" -Western Australia Police Service
Worksafe Western Australia
(2)
Part 2 to Schedule i is amended by inserting after the entry relating to the State Revenue Department the following -
Western Australia Police Service
The provision by the Western Australia Police Service of goods, information or intellectual property, technical, educational, training, management or advisory services relating to services provided by or activities carried out by Western Australia Police Service.
WorkSafe Western Australia
The provision by Worksafe Western Australia of -
(a) intellectual property; or (b)
advertising opportunities or opportunities having a purpose similar to advertising.

5. Schedule 2 inserted
After Schedule 1 the following Schedule is inserted -Schedule 2

Part 2 - Prescribed activities (regulation 5)
The Western Australian Government Railways Commission
The provision (in the State or elsewhere) by The Western management, or advisory services.
