STATE TRADING CONCERNS.

AN ACT to provide for the discontinuance of the

carrying on of the State Quarry, Boya as a	State Trading Concern and for other incidental
purposes.

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent of the Legislative Council and the LegislativeMajesty, by and with the advice and consent

Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

This Act may be cited as the State Trading Concerns Act Amendment Act, 1950, and shall be	Short title.
read as one with the State Trading Concerns Act, 46 of 1930 and 5 and 11 of 1932, and as affected by1916 (Act No. 12 of 1917, as amended by Acts Nos.
Act No. 38 of 1945), hereinafter referred to as the
principal Act.

3. The following section is added to the principal

Act:—

Discontinu-

ance of State	26A. (1) In this section
Quarry,

Boya,	"appointed day" means the thirty-first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and fifty;

1917. s. 6. of	"corporate body" means the corporate body authorised to carry on the concern;

of 15/8/1902,	"Reserve" means +8006 Greenmount (Quarries) vested in the Honourable the Minister for Works by Order in Council.

(2) On the appointed day, by virtue of this

section-

(i)    the concern shall cease to be carried on and shall be abolished;

(ii)    the corporate body shall be dissolved;

(iii)    the Reserve until then vested in the corporate body by virtue of the provi- sions of subsection (3) of section six of this Act shall cease to be so vested and shall revest in the Honourable the Minister for Works and be held by him as formerly by authority of the Order in Council referred to in the last pre- ceding subsection;

(iv)    other property, if any remains undis- posed of, shall cease to be vested in the corporated body and shall vest in the Honourable the Minister for Works to be held by him on behalf of His Majesty to be dealt with as the Governor may direct.

The Schedule

amended. 4. The Schedule to the principal Act is amended by deleting the words "State Quarry, Boya," in the first column and all words and figures in the second to eighth columns, both inclusive, relating thereto.
