These regulations are the
These regulations come into operation as follows —
(a) regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published on the WA legislation website;
(b) the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.
These regulations amend the
In regulation 3(1) insert in alphabetical order:
(1) After regulation 50(1A)(b) insert:
(ba) if the West State Super Member in whose name the account is maintained is a voluntary GESB Super Member, no relevant contribution has been credited to the Member’s GESB Super account; and
(2) After regulation 50(1B)(a) insert:
(aa) if the West State Super Member in whose name the account is maintained is a voluntary GESB Super Member, no relevant contribution has been credited to the Member’s GESB Super account; and
6. Part 3 Division 3 Subdivision 1A deleted

27. Regulation 248B amended (1) Delete regulation 248B(1) and insert:

(a) an Employer; and
(b) a non‑government contributor;
(a) in the case of an Employer — under the Act; or
(b) in the case of a non‑government contributor — under the SGA Act, to avoid incurring an individual superannuation guarantee shortfall for any of its employees; or
(c) in either of the cases referred to in paragraphs (a) and (b) —
(i) under any award, determination, order, enterprise agreement or similar industrial instrument; or
(ii) under any contract of employment.
(2) In regulation 248B(2):
(a) delete “an Employer” and insert:
