STATE REVENUE LEGISLATION FURTHER AMENDMENT

ACT 1998 NO 81—PROCLAMATION

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales. with the advice of the Executive Council. and in pursuance of section 2 (1) of the State Revenue Legislation Further Amendment Act 1998, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 31 August 1998 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object o f this Proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions o f the State Revenue Legislation Further Amendment Act 1998. Those provisions include the following

(a)	Schedule 1 [9 ] which amends the Duties Act 1997 in respect of the rate of duty chargeable for certain motor vehicles.
(b)	Schedule 2 which contains amendments to the Land Tax Act 1956.
(c)	Schedule 3 which contains amendments to the Land Tax Management Act 1956.
