I , Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR. A.C., Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the State Revenue Legislation (Further Amendment) Act 1992, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 July 1993 as the day on which Schedule 3 to that Act commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the amendments to the Debits Tax Act 1990 contained in the State Revenue Legislation (Further Amendment) Act 1992.

The amendments relate to the exemption of debits connected with offshore

banking activities and exemption of debits for financial institutions duty.
