I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A.C., Governor of the State

of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in
pursuance of section 2 of the State Revenue Legislation (Further

Amendment) Act 1992, do, by this my Proclamation:

(a)

appoint 26 April 1993 as the day on which Schedules 1 and 2 to that Act commence (except as provided by paragraph (b)); and

(b)

appoint 1 July 1993 as the day on which Schedule 1 (21) and (22) to that Act commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the amendments to the Business Franchise Licences (Petroleum Products) Act 1987 and the Business Franchise Licences (Tobacco) Act 1987 contained in the State Revenue Legislation (Further Amendment) Act 1992.

1993—No. 149

The amendments that are to commence on 26 April 1993 increase penalties under both Acts and relate to applications for licences and other matters concerning licences and licensees under the Acts.

The amendments that are to commence on 1 July 1993 relate to the modified

off-road diesel fuel scheme under the Business Franchise Licences (Petroleum
Products) Act 1987.
