State Revenue Legislation Amendment

Act 1999 No 10—Proclamation

GORDON SAMUELS, Governor. I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the State Revenue Legislation Amendment Act 1999, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 31 January 2000 as the day on which Schedules 3, 4 [1] and 5 to that Act commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions of the State Revenue Legislation Amendment Act 1999. These provisions amend the Land Tax Act 1956 and the Premium Property Tax Act 1998 in relation to the rounding off of land tax assessments and the Land Tax Management Act 1956 in relation to discounts for early payment of land tax.
