State records Act 1998 No 17-Proclamation

(L.S.) JAMES JACOB SPIELGELMAN,

by Deputation from His Excellency the Governor.

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the State Records Act 1998, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 July 1999 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions of the

State Records Act 1998, being Part 4 of that Act.

Part 4 of the State Records Act 1998 deals with the State Records Authority’s

entitlement to the control of State records not currently in use.
