State Penalties Enforcement Amendment Regulation (No. 8) 2010 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the State Penalties Enforcement Amendment Regulation (No. 8) 2010 . 2 Commencement Sections 5 and 9(1) and (2) commence on 1 December 2010. 3 Regulation amended This regulation amends the StatePenaltiesEnforcementRegulation 2000. 4 Amendment of s 5 (Administering authority for particular nominated laws) Section 5(2), definition nominated law , paragraph (r)— omit, insert — ‘(r) the Water Supply (Safety and Reliability) Act 2008 ;’. 5 Amendment of s 5B (Administering authority for BuildingAct 1975) Section 5B(b) and (c)— omit, insert — ‘(b) for an infringement notice served by the general manager appointed under the QueenslandBuildingServicesAuthorityAct1991 , the Queensland Building Services Authority; or (c) for an infringement notice served by an authorised fire officer under the Fire and Rescue Service Act 1990 , the department in which that Act is administered; or (d) otherwise, the department in which the provision is administered.’.
