s1 2 s5 State Penalties Enforcement Amendment Regulation No. 270, 2006 (No. 5) 2006 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the State Penalties Enforcement Amendment Regulation (No. 5) 2006 . 2 Commencement Section 7 commences on 1 February 2007. 3 Regulation amended This regulation amends the StatePenaltiesEnforcementRegulation 2000 . 4 ‘23A Insertion of new s 23A Part 5— insert — Additional particulars for fine collection notice for regular redirection of earnings ‘For the Act, section 142 a fine collection notice for regular redirection of earnings must also state the effect of sections 95(3) and 96 of the Act. 1 ’. 5 ‘27A Insertion of new s 27A After section 27— insert — Cut-out rate ‘For the Act, schedule 2, definition cut-out rate , paragraphs (b) and (e), the cut-out rate is $75.’. 1 Sections 95 (Access to premises etc.) and 96 (Application of amounts paid or credited if 2 or more debts due) of the Act
s6 3 s7 State Penalties Enforcement Amendment Regulation No. 270, 2006 (No. 5) 2006 6 Replacement of s 28 (Minimum instalment) Section 28— omit, insert — ‘28 Minimum instalment ‘For the Act, schedule 2, definition minimum instalment , the minimum amount a person who may pay an amount by instalments must pay is— (a) for the first instalment—$60; and (b) for each subsequent instalment— (i) $30 for each fortnight, regardless of the frequency at which instalments must be paid; or (ii) the amount remaining to be paid, if it is less than $30.
