State Penalties Enforcement Amendment Regulation (No. 4) 2009 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the State Penalties Enforcement Amendment Regulation (No. 4) 2009 . 2 Commencement This regulation commences on 1 January 2010. 3 Regulation amended This regulation amends the StatePenaltiesEnforcementRegulation 2000 . 4 Amendment of s 8B (Administering authority for Tobaccoand Other Smoking Products Act 1998) (1) Section 8B(b)— renumber as section 8B(c). (2) Section 8B— insert— ‘(b) for an infringement notice served by a police officer under the Police Powers and Responsibilities Act 2000 , section 60(3)(i), the department in which the TransportOperations(RoadUseManagement)Act1995 is administered; or’. 5 Insertion of new s 24 Part 6— insert— ‘24 Minimum amount owing prescribed for vehicle immobilisation ‘For section 108A(c) of the Act, the prescribed amount is $5000.’.
