s1 2 s5 State Penalties Enforcement Amendment Regulation No. 362, 2003 (No. 12) 2003 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the State Penalties Enforcement Amendment Regulation (No. 12) 2003 . 2 Commencement This regulation commences on 1 January 2004. 3 Regulation amended This regulation amends the StatePenaltiesEnforcementRegulation 2000. 4 Amendment of s 5 (Administering authority for particular nominated laws) (1) Section 5(2)(c) to (e)— renumber as section 5(2)(e) to (g). (2) Section 5(2)— insert— ‘(c) the LocalGovernment(ChinatownandtheValleyMalls)Act 1984 ; (d) the Local Government (Queen Street Mall) Act 1981 ;’. 5 Insertion of new ss 7A and 7B After section 7— insert— ‘7A Administering authority for Local Government (Chinatown andthe Valley Malls) Act 1984 ‘The administering authority for an infringement notice offence that is an offence against a provision of the Local Government (Chinatown andthe Valley Malls) Act 1984 , or an infringement notice about the offence, is the Brisbane City Council.
