STATE OWNED CORPORATIONS ACT 1989—REGULATION
(Amending Schedule 5 to the Act)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the State Owned Corporations Act 1989, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Schedule 5 to the State Owned Corporations Act 1989 is amended:
| (a) | by omitting the name ‘Far West Energy” and by inserting instead, in alphabetical order, the name “Australian Inland Energy”; |
| (b) | by omitting the name “MetNorth Energy’’ and by inserting instead, in alphabetical order, the name “Energy Australia”; |
| (c) | by omitting the name “MetSouth Energy” and by inserting instead, in alphabetical order, the name “Integral Energy Australia”; |
| (d) | by omitting the name “Midstate Energy” and by inserting instead, in alphabetical order, the name “Advance Energy”; |
| (e) | by omitting the name “NorthPower Energy’’ and by inserting instead, in alphabetical order, the name “NorthPower”. |
EXPLANATORY NOTE
The object of this Regulation is to amend Schedule 5 to the State Owned Corporations Act 1989 so as to reflect changes of name of 5 statutory SOCs contained in that Schedule.
This Regulation is made under the State Owned Corporation, Act 1989, including section 38 (the general regulation making power) and section 20B
