2 State Housing (Freeholding of Land) Interest Rate (No. 2) No. 364, 1993 ˙ Short title 1. This order in council may be cited as the State Housing (Freeholding of Land) Interest Rate Order (No. 2) 1993 . ˙ Commencement 2. This order in council commences on 1 October 1993. ˙ Prescribed interest rate (Homes and home sites) 3. The interest rate payable on the purchasing prices of land comprised in leases deemed to be freeholding leases under Division 1 of Part 2 of the Act, in respect of which applications were or are received on or after 22 August 1978, is varied by reducing the rate prescribed by the State Housing (Freeholding of Land) Interest Rate Order (No. 1) 1993 from 9.9% per annum to 9.25% per annum.
