AN ACT to amend the State Housing

Act, 1946-1959.

[Assented to 6th October, 1960.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the State and citation.

Housing Act Amendment Act, 1960.

(2) In this Act the State Housing Act, 1946-1959,

is referred to as the principal Act.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act

may be cited as the State Housing Act, 1946-1960.

amended. 2. Section six of the principal Act is amended

(a)	by substituting for the words, "seven hundred and fifty" in line four of para- graph (b) of the interpretation, "worker," the words, "one thousand one hundred and ninety-six";
(b)	by substituting for the words, "seven hundred and fifty" in line four of the first proviso to paragraph (b) of the interpre- tation, "worker," the words, "one thousand one hundred and ninety-six";
(c)	by substituting for the third proviso to paragraph (b) of the interpretation, "worker," the following proviso:—

Provided further that the sum of one thousand one hundred and ninety-six pounds referred to in this paragraph shall be ascertained without taking into account any variation of the basic wage made after the second day of May, one thousand nine hundred and sixty, pur- suant to the provisions of the Industrial Arbitration Act, 1912.
