AN ACT to amend the State Housing Act, 1946-1952.

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title

and citation. 1. (1) This Act may be cited as the State

Housing Act Amendment Act, 1953.

(2) In this Act the State Housing Act, 1946-1952, Act No. 51 of 1946 as amended by Acts Nos. 27 of 1947, 19 of 1948, 27 of 1950, 52 of 1951 and 23 of 1952,

is referred to as the principal Act.

The principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the State Housing Act, 1946-1953.

S.23 2. Section twenty-three of the principal Act is amended by substituting for the word, "seven" in line two, the word, "nine".
