754 Cynvettst xxur ANNO VICESIMO OCTAVO ELIZABETHAE SECUNDAE REGINAE No. 70 - of 1979 An Act to amend the State Government Insurance Office (Queensland ) Act 1960- 1978 in certain particulars [ASSENTED TO 21ST DECEMBER, 1979] BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short title and citation . (1) This Act may be cited as the State Government Insurance Office (Queensland) Act Amendment Act 1979. (2) In this Act the State Government Insurance Office (Queensland) Act 1960-1978 is referred to as the Principal Act. (3) The - Principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the State Government Insurance Office ( Queensland ) Act 1960-1979. 2. Amendment of s. 15 . Section 15 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting from subsection (I)- (a) thG expression ";"occurring at the end of provision (b); (b) omitting the words " (c) the General Reserve Fund'.

Section 18 of the Principal Act is amended by adding at the end thereof the following subsection:- " (4) The remedy provided for by this section is in addition to any other right in law had by a person aggrieved in respect of a rejection of a claim by the General Manager and resort to that remedy shall not prejudice the exercise of such other right, save as is prescribed by the Arbitration Act1973
