This regulation may be cited as the State Financial Institutions and Metway Merger Facilitation Amendment Regulation (No. 4) 1996 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the State Financial Institutions and MetwayMerger Facilitation Regulation 1996 . ˙ Amendment of s 4 (Pt 4, div 3, subdiv 3 of Act has effect—Act, s 42) 3. Section 4— insert — ‘ (2) On 20 December 1996, part 4, division 3, subdivision 3 of the Act stops having effect. ‘ (3) This part expires 2 years after the Metway amalgamation day.’. ENDNOTES 1.
