His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following State environmental planning policy under the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.

1      Name of Policy

This Policy is State Environmental Planning Policy (Sydney Region Growth Centres)

Amendment (Wilton) 2016.

2      Commencement

This Policy commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3      Repeal of Policy

(1)

This Policy is repealed on the day following the day on which this Policy

commences.

(2)

The repeal of this Policy does not, because of the operation of sections 5 (6) and 30

of the Interpretation Act 1987, affect any amendment made by this Policy.

Schedule 1 Amendment of State Environmental Planning Policy (Sydney Region Growth Centres) 2006

[1]      Clause 2 Aims of Policy

Omit clause 2 (a). Insert instead:

(a) to co-ordinate the release of land for residential, employment and other urban development in the North West Growth Centre, the South West Growth Centre and the Wilton Priority Growth Area,

[2]      Clause 2 (b), (c) and (e)–(g)

Omit “those” wherever occurring.

Omit the note to the clause.

[4]      Clause 3 Interpretation

Omit the definition of growth centre and the note to the definition from clause 3 (1).

Insert instead:

growth centre means any of the following:

(a)	the North West Growth Centre with boundaries as shown on the North West Growth Centre Precinct Boundary Map,
(b)	the South West Growth Centre with boundaries as shown on the South West Growth Centre Precinct Boundary Map,
(c)	the Wilton Priority Growth Area with boundaries as shown on the Wilton Priority Growth Area Precinct Boundary Map (the Wilton Priority Growth Area).

Note. The areas of land referred to in paragraphs (a) and (b) were, but are no longer, growth centres under the Growth Centres (Development Corporations) Act 1974.

Omit “or the South West Growth Centre Precinct Boundary Map”.

Insert instead “, the South West Growth Centre Precinct Boundary Map or the Wilton

Priority Growth Area Precinct Boundary Map”.

Insert at the end of paragraph (b):

Omit the second sentence in the note to the clause.

[8]      Clause 7A Controls applying to Colebee, Edmondson Park and Bingara Gorge Precincts

Insert after clause 7A (b):

(c) the provisions of Wollondilly Local Environmental Plan 2011 are specified for the land within the Bingara Gorge Precinct within the Wilton Priority Growth Area.

2 Application of amendments made by State Environmental Planning Policy (Sydney Region Growth Centres) Amendment (Wilton) 2016

The amendments made to this Policy by the State Environmental Planning Policy (Sydney Region Growth Centres) Amendment (Wilton) 2016 (the amending Policy) apply to a development application made but not finally determined before the commencement of the amending Policy.
