No 64—Advertising and Signage (Amendment No 1)

1     Name of Policy

This Policy is State Environmental Planning Policy

No 64—Advertising and Signage (Amendment No 1).

2     Aims, objectives etc

This aim of this Policy is to amend State Environmental Planning Policy No 64—Advertising and Signage to enable appropriate environmental assessment of signage (includingadvertising) within the Mount Panorama Precinct, Bathurst, consistent with its status as an area of importance for State and regional planning in New South Wales.

3     Land to which Policy applies

This Policy applies to the Mount Panorama Precinct, being the land shown edged heavy black on the map marked “State Environmental PlanningPolicyNo 64—Advertisingand Signage (Amendment No 1)” deposited in the principal office of the Department of Planning.

4     Amendment of SEPP 64

State EnvironmentalPlanning Policy No 64—Advertising and Signage is amended as set out in Schedule 1.

Insert in clause 4 (1) in alphabetical order:

Mount Panorama Precinct means the land shown edged heavyblack on the map marked “State Environmental Planning Policy No 64—Advertising and Signage (Amendment No 1)” deposited in the principal office of the Department of Planning.

Insert at the end of the clause:

This clause does not apply to the Mount Panorama Precinct.

Insert after clause 32:

33     Mount Panorama Precinct

The provisions of clauses 15, 19 and 21 (1) (c) do not apply to the Mount Panorama Precinct from the commencement of this clause until 1 January 2003.
