STATE ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNING POLICY No. 14—

COASTAL WETLANDS (AMENDMENT No. 8)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, has been pleased to make the State Environmental Planning Policy set forth hereunder in accordance with the recommendation made by the Minister for Planning.

Citation

1. This Policy may be cited as State Environmental Planning Policy

No. 14—Coastal Wetlands (Amendment No. 8).

Principal Policy

2. In this Policy, State Environmental Planning Policy No. 14—

Coastal Wetlands is referred to as the Principal Policy.

Aims, objectives etc.

3. The aims of this Policy are:

(a)	to exclude certain land from the application of the Principal Policy; and
(b)	to add certain land to the land to which the Principal Policy applies.

Application of this Policy

4. This Policy applies:

(a)	to each parcel of land within the outer edge of a heavy black line shown on a map described in clause 5; and
(b)	to any other land to which the Principal Policy applied immediately before the commencement of this Policy.

Amendment of Principal Policy

5. The Principal Policy is amended by omitting from clause 3 the

definition of “the map” and by inserting instead the following definition:

“the map” means the maps specified below which form part of a series of maps deposited in the Head Office of the Department and marked as follows:

(a) State Environmental Planning Policy No. 14—Coastal Wetlands (Amendment No. 2)—Maps 8, 11, 12, 14–17, 23,

28, 33, 34, 40–45, 47, 51, 52, 55–57, 59, 60, 62, 63, 66 and

78–82;

(b)	State Environmental Planning Policy No. 14—Coastal Wetlands (Amendment No. 3)—Maps 13, 18, 29, 32 and 54;
(c)	State Environmental Planning Policy No. 14—Coastal Wetlands (Amendment No. 5)—Map 49;
(d)	State Environmental Planning Policy No. 14—Coastal Wetlands (Amendment No. 6)—Map 6;
(e)	State Environmental Planning Policy No. 14—Coastal Wetlands (Amendment No. 7)—Maps 2, 3, 7, 19–22, 24, 25, 30, 31, 39, 46, 64 and 69;
(f)	State Environmental Planning Policy No. 14—Coastal Wetlands (Amendment No. 8)—Maps 1, 4, 5, 9, 10, 26, 27, 35, 36, 37, 38, 48, 50, 53, 58, 61, 65, 67 and 68.
