1      Name of Policy

This Policy is State Environmental Planning Policy Amendment (Newcastle

Restaurants and Small Bars) 2021.

2      Commencement

This Policy commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3      Repeal of Policy

This Policy is repealed on the day following the day on which this Policy commences.

4      Amendment of Newcastle Local Environmental Plan 2012

(1) Clause 6.8, heading

Omit “Temporary use”. Insert instead “Use”.

(2)	Clause 6.8(1)
Omit “During the trial period, the use”. Insert instead “The use”.
(3)	Clause 6.8(3), definition of “trial period”
Omit the definition.
(4)	Clause 6.8(4)
Insert after clause 6.8(3)—

(4) This clause is repealed on 31 January 2022.
