State Enterprises Acts Repeal Act 1983, No. 43 505 BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the State Enterprises Acts Repeal Act 1983. 2. Commencement of Act. (1) Section 1 and this section shall commence on the day this Act is assented to for and on behalf of Her Majesty. (2) Except as is provided by subsection (1) the provisions of this Act shall commence on a date appointed by Proclamation. The commencement of the provisions of this Act on the date so appointed is in this Act referred to as the commencement of this Act. 3. Repeal of Act 22 Geo. 5 47. The State Enterprises Repeal and " The Under Secretary, Department of Labour and Industry " Corporation Act of 1931 is repealed and in this Act is referred to as the Repealed Act. 4. Repeal of provisions of Act 9 Geo. 5 20. The enactments set forth in the following Table, being provisions of The State Enterprises Act of 1918 continued in force for the purposes of the Repealed Act are repealed :- TABLE Sections 3 to 6 both inclusive. Sections 17 to 21 both inclusive. The Schedule. 5. Dissolution of corporation . Upon and by virtue of the commencement of this Act the corporation sole constituted by the Repealed Act by the name " The Under Secretary, Department of Labour and Industry," shall cease to exist. 6. Disposal of corporation money. All money of the corporation immediately before its dissolution provided for by section 5 shall, upon the commencement of this Act and subject to the discharge of all debts and liabilities of the corporation, become the property of the Treasurer of Queensland and shall be paid into the Consolidated Revenue Fund.
