STATE ENERGY COMMISSION (COMMON SEAL) REGULATIONS 1990

Made by His Excellency the Governor in Executive Council.

Citation

1. These regulations may be cited as the State Energy Commission (Common

Seal) Regulations 1990.

Corn mencement

2. These regulations shall come into operation on the day on which they are

published in the Government Gazette.

Interpretation

3.In these regulations, unless the contrary intention appears— "Common Seal" means the Common Seal of the Commission.

4. The Common Seal shall be in the form as depicted below—

Custody
5. The Common Seal shall be kept at the principal office of the Commission
and the safe custody of the Common Seal shall be the responsibility of the

Secretary.

Use of the Common Seal
6. (1) Every deed, instrument or document to which the Common Seal is

affixed shall be signed by—

(a) any two persons holding or acting in the office of Commissioner, Deputy

Commissioner or Assistant Commissioner; or

(b) any one of the persons referred to in paragraph (a) and the Secretary

or Assistant Secretary.

(2) The sealing clause shall be in the form, or substantially in the form, set

out in the Schedule.

Seal Book
7. The Secretary shall cause to be kept a book to be known as the "Seal Book"
in which shall be entered a record of all deeds, instruments and other

documents to which the Common Seal has been affixed.

Repeal
8. The State Energy Commission (Common Seal) Regulations 1982 are re-

pealed.
