1   Short title

This regulation may be cited as the State Development and Public Works Organisation (Julia Creek–Richmond Critical Minerals Zone Water Delivery Options) Amendment Regulation 2023.

2   Regulation amended

This regulation amends the State Development and Public Works Organisation Regulation 2020.

Division 12 Strategic assessment for Julia Creek–Richmond Critical Minerals Zone Water Delivery Options

28M    Definitions for division

In this division—

project report means the report of October 2023, prepared by the Coordinator-General, called ‘Julia Creek/Richmond Critical Minerals Zone Water Delivery Options Project Report’ and published on the department’s website.

project works means the works reasonably connected with, or incidental to, the development of a strategic assessment for the Julia Creek/Richmond Critical Minerals Zone Water Delivery Options described in the project report.

SunWater means SunWater Limited ACN 131 034 985.

28N    SunWater directed to undertake particular works within particular time—Act, ss 100 and 102

(1)Subsection (2) is a direction for section 100 of the Act.

(2)SunWater must undertake the project works.

(3)For section 102(a) of the Act, SunWater must complete the project works by 30 June 2024.
