2 State Development and Public Works Organisation (Bikeways Project Board) No. 72, 1993 ˙ Short title 1. This order in council may be cited as the State Development and Public Works Organisation (Bikeways Project Board) Order 1993 . ˙ Name of Project Board 2. The Project Board established under the notification published in the Gazette on the same day as this order is called the Bikeways Project Board. ˙ Powers of Project Board 3. The Project Board has the following powers— (a) power to take land for the purposes of the works in respect of which the board is established; (b) power to spend, in relation to works for which the board is established— (i) the amount allocated by the Department of Transport from State funds; and (ii) the amount allocated to the Department of Transport by the Commonwealth under the ALTD Urban Public Transport Bikeways Projects; (c) power to enter into an agreement with a local authority in relation to the construction of bikeways by the authority under the program mentioned in paragraph (b)(i) or the Bikeways Projects mentioned in paragraph (b)(ii).
