An Act to amend section 12 (2) of the State Development and Country Industries Assistance Act, 1966, to enable pay-roU tax rebates payable under the Country Industries (Pay-roll Tax Rebates) Act, 1977, to be paid from the Country Industries Assistance Fund. [Assented to, 20th October, 1977.1

State Development and Country Industries Assistance {Amendment),

BE it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and

with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows —-

Short titl*.

1.

This Act may be cited as the “State Development and

Country Industries Assistance (Amendment) Act, 1977”.

Commence-

2.

(1) Except as provided in subsection (2), this Act

shall commence on the date of assent to this Act.

(2) Section 3 shall commence on such day as may be appointed by the Governor in respect thereof and as may be notified by proclamation published in the Gazette.

Amendment 3. The State Development and Country Industries

Assistance Act, 1966, is amended—

(County

(a) by omitting from section 12 (2) (e2) the word

by omitting from section 12 (2) (f) the word “Part.” and by inserting instead the words “Part; and” ;

(c)

by inserting after section 12 (2) (f) the following paragraph : —

(g)

the payment of pay-roll tax rebates under the Country Industries (Pay-roll Tax Rebates) Act, 1977.
