State Buildings Protective Security Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2008 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the State Buildings Protective Security Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2008 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the State Buildings Protective Security Regulation 2008. 3 Amendment of s 3 (Declaration of state building—Act, s 4(4)) Section 3(1), ‘the schedule’— omit, insert — ‘schedule 1’. 4 Insertion of new ss 3A and 3B After, section 3— insert — ‘3A Declaration of Legal Aid Queensland offices as state buildings—Act, s 4(4) ‘(1) For section 4(4) of the Act, the following are state buildings— (a) the buildings and their precincts located on the land described as lots 5 and 6 on Crown Plan B361 situated in the County of Stanley, Parish of North Brisbane; (b) the part of the building and its precincts located on the land described as lot 8 on B118228 situated in the County of Stanley, Parish of North Brisbane, that relates to the area to which registered leases GA, GE and G2 under the Land Title Act 1994 apply. ‘(2) This section expires on 17 October 2013. State Buildings Protective Security Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2008 [s 4] ‘3B Declaration of Cairns convention centre as a state building—Act, s 4(4) ‘(1) This section applies for the period from 22 October 2008 to 31 October 2008. ‘(2) For section 4(4) of the Act, the buildings and their precincts located on the land described as lot 114 on SP113636 situated in the County of Nares, Parish of Cairns are state buildings. ‘(3) This section expires on 1 November 2008.’.
