State Authorities Superannuation New South Wales

(Removal of Employers) Order 2002

under the

State Authorities Superannuation Act 1987

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 46 of the State Authorities Superannuation Act 1987, make the following Order.

Explanatory note
The object of this Order is to amend Schedule 1 to the State Authorities Superannuation Act 1987. The amendments remove the Australian Red Cross Society, Murrumbidgee Irrigation Limited and Murrumbidgee Irrigation Corporation from the employers listed in Part 1 of Schedule 1. This is because these employers no longer employ any employees who are contributors to the State Authorities Superannuation Scheme.
This Order is made under section 46 of the State Authorities Superannuation

Act 1987.

1     Name of Order

This Order is the State Authorities Superannuation (Removal of

Employers) Order 2002.

2 Commencement

This Order commences on 1 September 2002.

3 Amendment of State Authorities Superannuation Act 1987 No 211

The State Authorities Superannuation Act 1987 is amended as set out in Schedule 1.
