I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 46 of the State Authorities Superannuation Act 1987, make the following Order.

Explanatory note
The object of this Order is to include the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children in the list of employers in Schedule 1 to the State Authorities Superannuation Act 1987 (the Act). As a result, those persons who were employees of the University of Sydney immediately before 1 July 2014 and on that date transferred their employment to the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children will continue to be contributors for the purposes of the Act.
This Order is made under section 46 of the State Authorities Superannuation Act 1987.

1      Name of Order

This Order is the State Authorities Superannuation Amendment (Royal Institute for
Deaf and Blind Children) Order 2015.

2      Commencement

This Order is taken to have commenced on 1 July 2014 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of State Authorities Superannuation Act 1987 No 211

Schedule 1 Employers

Insert at the end of Part 1 of the Schedule:

Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children (limited to those persons who, immediately before 1 July 2014, were employees of the University of Sydney and on that date transferred their employment to the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children)
