I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with
the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 46 of the State Authorities
Superannuation Act 1987, make the following Order.

Explanatory note
The object of this Order is to include a person in the non-government sector (within the meaning of the
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NSW Enabling) Act 2013) to whom the employment of a disability
services employee (within the meaning of that Act) is transferred, between 1 July 2017 and 30 June 2018,
by an order of the Minister under section 14 of that Act as a class of employer in Schedule 1 to the State
Authorities Superannuation Act 1987. This will ensure that contributors to the State Authorities
Superannuation Fund whose employment is so transferred will continue to be contributors to that Fund for
the purposes of the State Authorities Superannuation Act 1987.
This Order is made under section 46 of the State Authorities Superannuation Act 1987.

1 Name of Order
This Order is the State Authorities Superannuation Amendment (NDIS) Order 2017.
2 Commencement
This Order is taken to have commenced on 1 July 2017 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.

Schedule 1 Employers
Insert at the end of Part 1:
Any person in the non-government sector (within the meaning of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NSW Enabling) Act 2013) to whom the employment of a disability services employee (within the meaning of that Act) is transferred, on or after 1 July 2017 and on or before 30 June 2018, by an order of the Minister under section 14 of that Act (limited to those employees whose employment is transferred by any such order)
