State Authorities Superannuation Act
1987—Order
GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.
I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 46 of the State Authorities Superannuation Act 1987, do, by this my Order, amend Schedule 1 (Employers) to that Act by inserting at the end of Part 1 of that Schedule, with effect on and from 6 September 1996, the following matter:
A Waste Planning and Management Board constituted under the Waste
Minimisation and Management Act 1995

Explanatory note
Under the State Authorities Superannuation Act 1987 employers within the meaning of the Act are required to make superannuation contributions in respect of certain of their employees to a fund kept under the Act. Schedule 1 to the Act lists organisations and bodies that are employers for the purposes of the Act. Section 46 of the Act authorises the Governor-in-Council, by order, to amend the Schedule.

Explanatory note
The object of this Order is to include in the Schedule as employers Waste Planning and Management Boards constituted under the Waste Minimisation and Management Act 1995.
