ORDER

NEW SOUTH WALES

I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A.C., Governor of the State

of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in

pursuance of section 46 of the State Authorities Superannuation Act 1987, do, by this my Order, amend Schedule 1 to that Act (Employers), to take effect on and from 18 January 1991, by inserting at the end of Part 1

of that Schedule the following name and limitation:

Independent Living Centre (limited to Concetta de Bonis, Ann Louise

Gibson, Jocelyn Frances Sloane and Melba Wu)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

Under the State Authorities Superannuation Act 1987 employers within the meaning of the Act are required to make superannuation contributions to the State Authorities Superannuation Fund in respect of certain of their employees. Schedule I to the Act lists organisations and bodies that are employers for the purposes of the Act. Section 46 of the Act authorises the Governor-in-council, by Order, to amend the Schedule in certain cases. The purpose of this Order is to amend the Schedule so as to include the Independent Living Centre in the list of employers, but limited to specified persons who were previously employed by the Royal Rehabilitation

The Order will be taken to have had effect on and from 18 January 1991, the date on which those persons became employed by the Independent Living Centre. (Subsection (2) of the section authorises an Order to be made so that it has effect on and from a date that is earlier than the date of its publication.)
