I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 27 of the State Authorities

Non-contributory Superannuation Act 1987, make the following Order.

Explanatory note

The object of this Order is to include Southern Cross Community Housing Limited in the list of employers in Schedule 1 to the State Authorities Non-contributory Superannuation Act 1987. This will mean that persons:

(a)	who, immediately before 22 October 2018, were employees of the Department of Family and Community Services, and
(b)	whose employment was transferred on 22 October 2018 pursuant to offers of employment made under a transitional agreement dated 31 October 2017 between the Secretary of the Department of Family and Community Services (on behalf of the State) and Southern Cross Community Housing Limited,

will continue to be employees for the purposes of the Act.

This Order is made under section 27 of the State Authorities Non-contributory Superannuation Act 1987.

2      Commencement

This Order is taken to have commenced on 22 October 2018 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.
