Explanatory note
Explanatory note

The Energy Services Corporations (Eraring Energy) Regulation 2000 constitutes an electricity generator called Eraring Energy as an energy services corporation under the Energy Services Corporations Act 1995.

The object of this Order is to amend Schedule 1 to the State Authorities Non- contributory Superannuation Act 1987 so as to include Eraring Energy in the list of employers whose employees are subject to the superannuation scheme established under that Act.

This Order is made under section 27 of the State Authorities Non-contributory
Superannuation Act 1987.

1      Name of Order

This Order is the State Authorities Non-contributory

Superannuation (Eraring Energy) Order 2000.

2 Commencement

This Order commences on the date of commencement of the Energy
Services Corporations (Eraring Energy) Regulation 2000.

3 Amendment of State Authorities Non-contributory Superannuation Act 1987 No 212

The State Authorities Non-contributory Superannuation Act 1987 is amended by inserting “Eraring Energy” at the end of Part 1 of Schedule 1 (Employers).

The explanatory note and the note in this Order do not form part of this Order.
