GORDON SAMUELS, Governor I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 27 of the State Authorities Non-contributory Superannuation Act 1987, make the following Order.

Explanatory note

Coleambally Irrigation Corporation is an authority listed in Schedule 1 to the State Authorities Non-contributory Superannuation Act 1987 and is accordingly an employer under that Act.

Coleambally Irrigation Co-operative Limited is the current successor to Coleambally Irrigation Corporation and was privatised effective 9 June 2000 in a Government privatisation initiative.

The object of this Order is to remove the name of Coleambally Irrigation Corporation (now named Coleambally Irrigation Co-operative Limited) from Schedule 1 as a consequence of that Government privatisation initiative.

1     Name of Order

This Order is the State Authorities Non-contributory Superannuation

(Coleambally Irrigation Corporation) Order 2001.

2 Commencement

This Order is taken to have commenced on 9 June 2000.

3 Amendment of State Authorities Non-contributory Superannuation Act 1987 No 212

Omit “Coleambally Irrigation Corporation” from Part 1 of Schedule 1 to the State Authorities Non-contributory Superannuation Act 1987.

4 Notes

The explanatory note in this Order does not form part of this Order.
