EXPLANATORY NOTE
The object of this Regulation is to amend the State Authorities Non-contributory Superannuation Regulation 1988 so as to remove a clause which provides that, where an employee is eligible to become or becomes a member of the Public Sector Executives Superannuation Scheme, certain specified employment benefits provided to the contributor are to be treated as salary for superannuation purposes. This matter is now dealt with by the State Authorities Non-contributory Superannuation Act 1987.
